As Time Passes

Well I know the last couple of blogs have been hard to read. So here is a lighter one. For those of you who have continued to send your well wishes even after reading what I wrote I thank you. It is hard to live through this type of thing, but it makes it easier to know there are friends who are loving and loyal even in the face of hard words. These last couple of post go directly to a few people and not to everyone whom I know.

OK Andrew turned 12 on Sat. He also played 2 football games 1 win, 1 loss. Then we had the team over to sit and hang out we cooked and ate and had a great time. Then 6 of the players spent the night as well as 2 neighbor boys. Wow can I say insane, to have 9, 10-13 yr old boys over night and all the next day. I am insane now if I wasn't before. They ate tons of pancakes for lunch because I was to tired to cook them before noon. But a great time was had by all, the boys were good and got along with each other just great. Not one single fight which I felt was simply amazing. Andrew got Crystal's PSP for his big present and he will cherish it for the rest of his life. He has wanted one for awhile now. But the fact it was Cryssy's before is the best. Now he has something that was hers and it is something he wanted. I couldn't have asked for more to see his face and understand how he felt.

Thank ya'll for hanging in there with me, and to all the new people I have met that were Cryssy's friends thank you for loving her and being her friend.

Love and Peace
Janet

Hi Janet

What? No fighting with that many young boys in the house?? Something must be wrong!

I am glad you are slowly getting yourself together for you and your family so you can live the rest of your life - it's definitely what Crystal would have wanted...

In response to your other reply post, don't be at all surprised by how many of her former friends contact you - I think Crystal touched so many people along the way & wise people like her often never realize how influential they can be...she would have positively influenced thousands and thousands of souls in her short, but eventful, life. I will always carry Crystal in my spirit as I know many, many others will.

Also, if you don't mind, I thought I'd share one more experience I had with Crystal that is quite relevant. When I moved to London after I met her in 98, a good friend of mine's life came to an abrupt end. I'd never experienced anyone dying on me before and was quite cut up about it and mentioned it to Crystal in an email. She wrote back and told me that "he is in a much better place now and some people are just too sensitive/beautiful for this world". And almost prophetically, I think those words kinda say it all about her as well...

Lots of Love,
Jamie

Thank you for that comment. Yes it sounds like her and it was almost prophetical. I love to read the stories and like others to see what impact she made. Please post as often as you like with as many stories as you like.

Thank you for caring for her.

Trey

That must be how Andrew used to feel with a house full of girls. Now he wants them all to move home. I keep telling him NO! I think that was because they were so much older and spoiled him. Stay strong Trey.
